The classical parquet is a natural form of flooring that has been used for centuries. Since it is possible to renovate it, it is a lasting type of flooring that can withstand many generations. Wooden floors are easy to maintain, they are suitable for people susceptible to allergies, they are antistatic, they enrich the environment they are set in and give it a very special feeling of warmth.
At Šiles we produce various types of classical parquets in the following thicknesses: 10, 15, 20 mm, with widths between 50 and 300 mm and in lengths comprised between 250 and 4000 mm.
For the production of the parquet we employ timbers from all continents of the globe, so that our offer encompasses more than 50 different timber types, all suitable for wooden flooring due to their specific characteristics. All parquets are divided into three distinct quality classes.
We treat some timbers in special ways (e.g. we steam them, heat-treat them, smoke them).
We can also produce the parquet according to the specific requirements of the customer: Fishbone, French fishbone, English joint. The parquet is glued to the floor and then post-treated in different ways; it may be sanded or brushed, varnished, oiled, bleached, tinted in the desired tone, or waxed.
Some types of parquet in thicknesses of 10 or 15 mm are suitable also for floors with floor-heating and we can install these professionally and supply our guarantee on them.
The investment in classical parquet is an investment that will be appreciated by many generations. |
